Chris Earthman elected President of the Board of Directors; 7 New Board Members Added from Austin, Georgetown, Marble Falls, and Waco

(Austin, Georgetown, Marble Falls, Waco) – Catholic Charities of Central Texas proudly announces Chris M. Earthman of Austin Ventures as the newly elected President of the Board of Directors of Catholic Charities. Earthman served two years as Co-Chair of the Development Committee which is charged with providing leadership and guidance in the areas of fund raising, stewardship and agency wide accountability. He will continue to work towards promoting agency wide sustainable finances in his role as president. In addition, top priorities for Earthman include increasing access to family strengthening services through community partnerships and collaborations. Chris Earthman has been an active volunteer at Catholic Charities and a member of the board since 2005.

“We are proud to have talented and dedicated volunteers on the board of directors,” said Cynthia Colbert, Executive Director of Catholic Charities. “Our board of director’s active participation and leadership has been invaluable to Catholic Charities in providing help and creating hope for many families throughout central Texas, especially during this difficult economy.”

Chris Earthman is joined by seven new board members from Austin, Georgetown, Marble Falls, and Waco.
